Know when, where and how often every tipper tips.
A tilt sensor measures the angle of a tipper body, crane boom or vehicle. Every tipping is recorded with the time and the exact place, unauthorised offloading is flagged, and a vehicle rolling over raises an alarm straight away.
Where was that load really offloaded?
Tipper trucks are paid by the trip, and material is valuable. Loads tipped at the wrong site, extra trips sold on the side, or a body raised while driving can all cost you money and safety. A tilt sensor turns the angle of the body into a record you can trust — and it can also tell you immediately when a tanker or truck has rolled over.
Tipping events
Each time the body is raised, the platform records when, where and for how long, with the angle reached.
Unauthorised tipping
Draw your approved sites as geofences and get an alert when a tipper offloads anywhere else.
Trip counts you can trust
Count tipping trips per truck, per driver and per site for billing and payroll.
Body raised while driving
An alert when the body is up while the truck is moving — a common cause of damage to bridges and power lines.
Rollover and accident alarm
A sudden extreme angle on a tanker or truck raises an alarm so help can be sent at once.
Cranes and equipment
Monitor the angle of cranes, booms, loaders and other equipment for safe operation.
How it works
A tilt sensor is fitted
The sensor is mounted on the tipper body, boom or chassis and connected to the GPS tracker.
The angle is calibrated
We set the resting and raised positions so the platform knows when the body is up.
Events are recorded
Each tipping is stored with the angle, time, place and duration.
Alerts and reports
Unauthorised tipping, body raised while moving and rollovers trigger alerts; reports show every tipping.
Common questions
Which vehicles is this for?
Tipper trucks, dump trucks, tankers, cranes, loaders and any equipment where an angle matters.
Can I see where every load was tipped?
Yes. Each tipping is shown on the map and in the Tipping report with its place and time.
Will drivers get an alert too?
Alerts go to the managers you choose by app notification or email; they can also be shown to drivers.
Does it need a separate system?
No. The tilt sensor connects to the same Data Drive tracker, so tipping is shown alongside location, fuel and driving.
